Forum Rules

The following are prohibited:

Matching Username and Character Name: This is a must. If your character's name is Bob, then your username for this site is Bob as well.

Flaming & Trolling: Posts directed at another member which are hateful, abusive, or intentionally inflammatory are considered flaming. Making intentionally inflammatory or provocative posts to incite responses from other members is considered trolling.

Sexually Explicit Content: Posting, requesting, distributing, or offering sexually explicit material is not permitted anywhere on Ascension, Rise to Godhood. Sexually explicit content includes explicit photographs, text, artwork, video, or cybersex conversations. This is a creative writing forum which caters to the extremely literate RPer/writer and with that we understand that some tastefully descriptive imagery may add to a story. If you believe this to be the case, you MUST pm your descriptions to a moderator to make certain that what is written doesn't contain blatant graphic language.

Spam: Posts that are nonsense, off-topic, contain advertisements (even for affiliate sites), and/or have low or no content related to a topic are considered spam. Please ensure that your posts are on topic and contain an appropriate amount of discussable content.

Respect: This is a simple one. To sum it up, treat people as you would like to be treated. There will be no blatant disrespect shown on this forum by members or moderators. Disrespecting other may result in some pretty serious consequences.

RP Rules

1- ALL CHARACTERS should be either original creations or at the very least not infringe upon any copyrights. (No Konoha Ninjas, Rubbery Pirates, Kryptonians, etc.)

2- You may not have an invincible or non kill-able character. This is why characters such as Gods and first generation Immortals are NPCs(Non Playable Characters). This is not to say that you can't have a Vessel which is a god bound to flesh. The flesh they are bound to can be destroyed, thus this character type is playable.

3- Fights to the death are only permitted when all players involved agree. This being said, IF, within reason, a player feels as though their character is not portrayed correctly(like in a DPRP match) or cheated, they may inform myself or crew. The match may be called off and all stories void.

4- Emperor's Items may NOT be used by someone who simply stole them. In order to gain an item that is in someone's possession that person must be killed, even if not permanently.

5- Stories which depict a character's escape from eternal death MUST be approved in order to become canon.

6- We understand that everyone has a social life away from the site. That being said if you have events going on in your real life, please let those here who may be waiting on you know if you will be late or unable to commit to something. This is especially the case when DPRP is involved and you agreed to a specific deadline.

6- You MUST familiarize yourself with FAQs, rules, Ascension folklore, etc..
